It's not every day that most parents have to worry about losing their children, but for Josh, he glimpsed what it would be like to lose his daughter, Cassidy. One afternoon while they were hiking in the woods, Cassidy fell into a creek and was sucked under a collapsed bridge, where she became trapped. Using the techniques she learned during her YMCA swim lessons, Cassidy remained calm and Josh was able to help her out from under the bridge. Josh is so grateful to the YMCA swim programs for giving his daughter the knowledge she needed to save her life.
